2011 saw our network complete over 1900 events for enthusiastic photobooth aficionados across this great land. Read on to hear about the major events we did this year, and how our four new photobooth models are ready to change our industry for the better - making photobooth-business ownership even more affordable. We were chuffed recently to be approached to photograph the Ten Tenors for some publicity shots. The guys had a heap of fun hamming it up in the booth for photographers, before heading off on their Australian tour. This month we've also added more locations to our network and another 18 machines around Australia for hire...

We think so! The Photobooth People Rental Network has made photobooth history, having just wrapped up Australia’s Largest Photobooth hire event. Village Roadshow contracted us to provide photobooths for the release of their new movie ‘Hall Pass’ - a hilarious new movie featuring the comedic talents of Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis.

Well Australia day has now passed and this is the time of year when all of your favourite television shows begin to launch their new seasons. Whether you’re a big TV fan or not we’re here to assure you that entertainment does not have to be limited to your living room. Our team has taken it upon themselves to provide Australians near and far with the best kind of entertainment (can you guess what kind?!), and as a result we have now expanded our Photobooth Rental Network to a massive 21 members Australia wide.

We’ve just finished a 4 day 24/7 installation at Jupiters Casino for their 25th birthday. Yup, that’s right Jupiters is 25 years old…crazy stuff! Amongst numerous celebrations and parties, their staff ‘got their booth on’ for 4 days. Yeeha!

We got up to some extreme booth business during the September school holidays. We were asked by Ipswich Art Gallery to help them facilitate a 16 day black light exhibition. We put our heads together with the artistic directors at the gallery and came up with….wait for it……our black light photobooth!

We finally started and finished writing our ceremony and vows tonight. For those of you who don’t know me very well, I’m a crier. I cry when I’m upset, when I’m happy, over spilt milk and at the drop of a hat. I can’t help it. And true to form, I cried writing our ceremony. I cried a lot. And in the midst of tears it got me thinking about backup plans!

Working at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, I am fortunate to attend amazing functions every day, and was very fortunate to meet Nikki and her photobooth! After watching how much fun the function guests were having, Damien and I loved the idea of giving our guests the opportunity to create a keepsake of our wedding day too.

Last week we were lucky enough to take one of our booths on one of the longest direct journeys in mainland Oz. Our mantra of ‘have booth will travel’ certainly moved up a whole other notch. So how far did our travelling booth travel? Well…..let’s see…. 4,790kms give or take…and that was just the one-way journey!

From January until March, we will donate a percentage of every photobooth hire fee to the Oxfam Australia Haiti Earthquake Appeal. Despite our physical distance from this devastating event, we hope we can contribute, and in some small way send a message of hope and support to all those who are suffering.

We have our QLD Bulls Family Fun Day once a year, and as this was my first year coordinating the event, I wanted to have something that guests could take home and remember the day. We had between 1500-2000 people at our fun day. We had rides, face painting, a BBQ, carnival food, sponsor products and cricket activities. We had a photobooth set up, which was free of charge for our guests.

Summer is here. Spring has sprung. Or so it felt with nine days left of winter! The 22nd of August marked a very special day for some new friends of ours – and what a day it was. Winter in Brisbane had managed to pull off a crisp and clear, nearly perfect rendition of a beautiful spring day for Marco and Lesa’s wedding.
